Another slew of season and personal bests were set for the Illinois State swimming and diving team as they beat Wisconsin-Milwaukee 184 to 112 at Horton Pool.
Sprinter Monique Witkowski set a season best in the 50 free with a time of 25.01 and a personal best in the 100 free in a time of 54.55. Witkowski won both events and her times are among the top in the Valley.
All three Redbird swimmers in the 200 breast, Julie Schultz, Brittany Armstrong and Liz Scheffke, set personal bests, with Schultz having the fastest Redbird time and taking third in the event.

Steve Paska feels his team is right where they should be at this point in the season.
Our motto is to try to improve consistently meet in and meet out, and try to make significant improvements in terms of the small things like getting off the blocks, said Paska.
Terra Whisman was a highlight for the Bird divers as she took first-place on the 1-meter board with a score of 249.9 and second on the 3-meter with a score of 233.2, behind teammate Krystal Featherston who won the event.
Redbird diving coach Laura Segerlin believes her divers are performing right on track.
Were moving along at an average pace as far as building up steam, said Segerlin. They showed great enthusiasm for their team and sport, and theyre doing great.
The Birds will have a break from dual meet action, and will be heading to Akron, Ohio December 5-7, when they compete in the Akron Invitational.
