On November 18, 2002, Chelsea Bach of Hononegah Community High School signed her national letter of intent to continue her academic and athletic career with the Illinois State womens golf team.
Bach, a Roscoe, Ill. native, has an extensive tournament background both at the state and national levels. She recently placed 4th individually at the 2002 IHSA Womens Golf State Championship. Bach was also a 2002 IHSA regional and sectional champion. Additionally, she won the 2002 Illinois Womens Golf Association State Junior Championship, shooting a 76-73, for an overall total of 149.

Ray Kralis is excited about what Bach brings to the Redbird golf team.
Obviously Chelsea adds depth to an already talented squad, Kralis said. But with her experience, strong fundamentals and natural rhythm, I look for her to have an impact in her first year with the team.
A positive addition to the team, Bach plans to major in education at Illinois State.
