Softball Home Opener Washed Out

Illinois State softballs home series against Indiana, scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, has been cancelled due to poor field conditions. The Birds (5-9) return to action Saturday when they open the Missouri Valley Conference season hosting Creighton with a doubleheader beginning at noon at the Redbird Softball Complex.
