No. 4 Evansville Hands No. 2 Creighton First Loss of Valley Tourney

In the third game Friday, No. 4 seed Evansville put up four runs early and rode hot pitching the rest of the way defeating No. 2 seed Creighton 4-1 at the Redbird Softball Complex in Normal, Ill. The Aces remains undefeated at 2-0 in Valley tourney play, while the Bluejays draw their first loss. Evansville will face No. 1 seed Illinois State at 8 p.m. Friday, while Creighton meets No. 6 seed Northern Iowa in the 5:30 p.m. contest.
