The one thing the Illinois State womens tennis duo of Liina Suurvarik and Alesia Mikalayeva wasnt ready to compete with at the NCAA Championships was the weather, which has prevented the Doubles Championship from beginning as scheduled Tuesday.
Doubles play is now scheduled to begin at the Taube Tennis Center on Wednesday, weather permitting. Suurvarik/Mikalayeva will take on Duke Universitys Hillary Adams/Kelly McCain, and the winner of the match will go on to compete against the winner of the match between Wake Forests Bea Bielik/Janet Bergman and Notre Dames Katie Cunha/Lindsey Green the same day.
