The Birds will have a chance to improve their performance as there are two more rounds of golf to be played. Eighteen holes will be played on Saturday, September 14, and a final round of eighteen will conclude the tournament on Sunday the 15th.
Illinois State head coach,
Ray Kralis, was content with the way his team performed today in the tough field of competitors.
Today was a average day for us, we got off to a pretty shaky start on the front nine, said Kralis. But we bounced back and played strong on the back nine. All-in-all we have ourselves in a decent position to go out tomorrow and make a move. The girls are really confident and we are looking for a great day tomorrow.
