Womens Golf to Resume Play on Sunday

The Illinois State womens golf team will resume their tournament, the Lady Kat Invitational, Sunday, September 15 after play was suspended on Saturday due to inclement weather. After the first round of play the Redbirds were in seventh place, turning in a team score of 309 on Friday afternoon. They were lead by ISU freshman, Samantha Richdale. Richdale shot a three-over-par 75, which put her in 13th place after the first eighteen holes. She is just six strokes behind the leader, Tennessees Jessica Shepley.
