Liina Suurvarik, who went undefeated in singles play this weekend, set the standard on the court for the Illinois State women's tennis team, which went 9-3 as a team on the second day of the Mizzou 4-Way.
The tournament also featured Murray State and Southern Illinois University, in addition to host University of Missouri.
Head coach Chris Hoover was pleased with what he saw from his players this weekend.

The Redbirds return to the courts on October 4 to compete in the Missouri Valley Conference Individuals Championship in Springfield, Mo.
