The Illinois State gymnastics team will be hosting its 2nd annual Meet the Illinois State Gymnastics Team spaghetti dinner on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 5:30 p.m. in the Horton North Gym to support its run at a third consecutive appearance at the NCAA Regionals.
Coach Beth Larson and her team will be on hand for a meet and greet opportunity.
This provides our team with the opportunity to interact with the community, and it also helps us to achieve our season goal of being able to afford to return to the NCAA Regionals, said Larson.
Tickets for the Avantis-catered dinner are still available and can be purchased by calling Coach Larson at (309) 438-5049 or e-mailing her at bmlarso@ilstu.edu. The deadline for purchasing tickets is Friday, Sept. 20. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for youth 12 and under. The meal includes spaghetti, bread, homemade desserts and beverages.
The Redbird gymnastics team will open its season Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003, in Horton Field House versus Wisconsin - Lacrosse.
