For the first time in coach Greg Kennetts coaching carreer at Illinois State every member of his team is alive in the main draw going into the second day of competition at the Ball State Invitational.
Even mother nature could not stop the Redbirds on the first day of competition as the team had a very successful day despite a rain delay of over three hours.
Every Redbird won 2 matches, and the team lost only one doubles match. Jason Smit and Ben Pettinari along with the team of Ciaron Foley and Andy Martin won their matches respectively.
Ciaron Foley and Andy Martin played excetptional today and worked very well together, said coach Greg Kennett.
Final results from Fridays action were not available due to the lengthy rain delay. Play resumes Saturday morning at 8:30.
