Long-time Illinois State fans can have a chance to cheer for their favorites one more time at the Feb. 8 Women's Varsity-I Letterwinners Banquet.
The banquet will award Varsity-I letters to female athletes who competed before 1989--the first year Illinois State actually awarded letters to it female student-athletes.
More than 400 are expected in attendance at the event, which begins with a reception at 5 p.m. and follows with dinner and program at 6:30 p.m. in the Bone Student Center Ballroom.
Tickets are available to the public at $25 each and can be purchased by calling Pat Cattron in The Redbird Club office at (309) 438-3803. Deadline for reservations is Monday, Jan. 27.
