The Redbird swimming and diving team travels to Notre Dame, Ind., for the Dennis Stark Relays on Friday, October 3, 2003. This weekend marks the Birds first competition of the season.
Other teams competing include Marquette, Notre Dame, Saint Marys, Valparaiso and Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Head coach
Steve Paska is looking forward to the meet and anxious to get the season underway.
Its been great to watch our team prepare for this meet, said Paska. In all the years Ive been doing this the anticipation for that first meet of the season has never been low. Im excited to see our 25 swimmers and nine divers compete and I think everyone is ready to take the first step in building our season.
The meet will take place in the Rolfs Aquatic Center on the Notre Dame campus, with action set to begin at 6:30 p.m.
