Junior Krystal Featherston collected first-place finishes in both the one-meter and three-meter diving events at the Redbirds recent meet against Ball State, earning Diver of the Week honors from the Missouri Valley Conference.
Featherston posted a score of 240.82 in the one-meter, followed by a 251.85 in the three-meter to lead the Redbird divers to a sweep of the top three positions in the October 17 contest, held at Horton Pool. The Kokomo, Ind. native also recorded the top Valley score in the one-meter event for the season.
Featherston and the Redbirds return to the water on October 24 for a 6 p.m. dual meet at Illinois.
