As the fall season winds down for the Illinois State baseball team, two of the biggest events of the year will take place, as Parents Day will be Saturday and the Media World Series will begin Monday.
Parents are invited to come take in the days events Saturday, as the baseball team will hold their red/white scrimmage at 10am. Following the scrimmage, a picnic will be held for all to enjoy.
The Redbirds will take Sunday off before the five-game Media World Series begins Monday. Jim Brownlees ballclub will be split into two teams, which will be managed be members of the local media.
