Game Three Brings Same Result in the Media World Series

The Illinois State squad led by seniors Kyle Zaleski and Greg Blaesing, as well as WJBCs Tim Fisher, picked up the win in the third day of the Media World Series. It was the squads third consecutive win of the series. Fisher took on WMBDs Kurt Pegler in the afternoons managerial matchup. Pegler reported having an outstanding time, with the exception of one thing. I only got to wave two guys home, said the WMBD sports anchor. Their pitchers just shut our squad down today. Overall I was very impressed with all of the pitchers; the young guys will help this team out. WJBCs Fisher echoed those thoughts. It was definitely our pitching that was the key to the win today, but we also had some timely hitting, said WJBCs Sports Talk host. I think they out hit us on the day, but we got them when they meant the most, and just stayed aggressive all game. Kyle Zaleski and freshman Kyle OBrien were the one two punch that held Peglers squad at bay. OBrien picked up the win, while Zaleski also drove in two runs. Kyle OBrien pitched really well today, and thats a big lift for us to end the fall, said Illinois State head coach Jim Brownlee. Weve held him back a little bit because of some health issues, but he looked great today. Tomorrows game will feature WEEKs Lee Hall at the helm of one squad, while The Pantagraphs Randy Reinhardt will lead the other. The weathers been great all week long, and hopefully it will be the same tomorrow, said Brownlee. Up to this point, the guys have played the way we expect them to. All were looking for now is someone to step up and surprise us.
