White Makes All-Tournament Team

Junior libero Paige White represented Illinois State on the nine-player 2003 State Farm-Missouri Valley Conference All-Tournament team. White, a Bloomington native who played on two IHSA State Championship teams at University High School on the Illinois State campus, had 23 digs in six games and helped the Redbird offense defeat Indiana State in the first round with precision passing. The Redbird dig leader for the season, was terrific down the stretch as part of Illinois State's eight-match winning streak. She averaged 4.05 digs per game over the final six matches of the year. White helped Illinois State rebound from a 5-10 start to go 14-4 over the final 18 matches by averaging 2.81 digs per game. At the tournament, the Redbirds defeated Indiana State in three games before losing to tournament host and No. 1 seed Southwest Missouri State.
