The Illinois State womens soccer program will offer two on-campus youth clinics on Saturday, March 8, at 1:45 p.m., and Sunday, April 6, at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. The developmental clinics are open to boys and girls in eighth grade and younger.
The purpose of these clinics is to develop the fundamental skills necessary to be a successful soccer player and allow each participant to leave with new ideas to improve their skills. All participants will be grouped according to age, and the Illinois State soccer coaching staff, along with members of the team, will provide personal evaluation and instruction to build a solid soccer foundation.
The cost for the March 8 clinic is $25 (if postmarked by March 1) or $30 for registration at the door. The cost for the clinic on April 6 is $20. Walk-up registration will be accepted for both clinics.
Registration forms are available on-line at the Illinois State soccer webpage at www.redbirds.org. Further inquiries regarding these clinics can be directed to Pete Cuadrado, Illinois State assistant soccer coach, via phone at (309) 438-8993 or e-mail at pjcuadr@ilstu.edu.
