Redbirds' Final Game of Pepsi/Johnny Quik Classic Cancelled

The Illinois State baseball team's final game in the Pepsi/Johnny Quik Classic scheduled for 12 p.m. Saturday has been cancelled due to poor field conditions. The Redbirds were set to face Bowling Green for the final day, but steady rain throughout the night has made the field unplayable for the morning session. The remaining games in the classic will attempt to still be played as scheduled. Illinois State continues its season on Wednesday, March 19, for a road game at Missouri. The contest is scheduled for a 4 p.m. start. The game will not be available on WJBC webcast.
