For the second time in as many days, the Illinois State softball team has been forced to cancel a game. The Redbirds will no longer travel to Chicago to take on DePaul due to snow.
The final game of the Illinois State versus Bradley series was cancelled on Sunday, April 6, due to cold temperatures and tomorrows doubleheader against DePaul has been cancelled due to a blanket of snow on Wish Field. The game against DePaul will not be rescheduled.
The Redbirds, 19-16 and 12-1 in the Missouri Valley Conference, will return to action this weekend as they travel to Des Moines, Iowa to take on Valley opponent Drake.
