Illinois State head baseball coach Jim Brownlee and his staff still have openings available for their three upcoming clinics in June.
The clinics are designed to help area youths with their baseball fundamentals. The first clinic runs from June 9-12, with all sessions lasting from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. It will focus on both offensive and defensive aspects of the game, and is open to youths between the ages of 11-17. The registration fee for this clinic is $100 and the registration deadline is June 6th. This clinic will also be offered June 23-26.
The second clinic will emphasize pitching and catching. This clinic runs from June 9-12, with all sessions running from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. This clinic is open to youths between the ages of 9-17, and costs $100.
The third clinic offered at Illinois State will be a developmental clinic designed to instruct younger children on the fundamentals of the game. This clinic will be offered June 16-19 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m, and the cost is $100.
Participants will receive a Redbird Baseball Clinic T-shirt and an in-depth take-home evaluation at the end of camp.
