The Illinois State softball team will host Lincoln College and the ISU Early Birds in a tournament at Redbird Softball Complex on Sunday.
Illinois State will take the field at noon against Lincoln College. Then at 2 p.m., Lincoln College will face the ISU Early Birds, a team comprised of former Illinois State softball players. The final game of the tournament will feature the current Illinois State team against the Early Birds.

Melinda Fischer feels that Sunday will be another test for her players.
This will be a learning experience for our players but I think it will be fun for them, head coach
Melinda Fischer said. Its always good to have our old players back. We should get some good games in this weekend. I think the game with the alumni will be pretty competitive and we havent played Lincoln College in a few years so their program will be relatively new to us.
