Illinois State junior Samantha Richdale has been named Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week, after a finishing in a fifth place tie at the Lady Razorback Invitational in Rogers, Kan.
This is Richdales 10th time receiving this award, but her first time this season. She joins teammates Katie Laehn and Kaila Fuller as ISU recipients of the honor this fall.
Richdale carded a three-round total of 224 (75, 73, 76), leading the Redbirds to a seventh place finish in the 19-team tournament.
Richdale and the Redbirds return to action on Feb. 28 as they travel to the MoMorial Invitational in Bryan, Texas.
