Originally promoted on a different day and in a different location, Robin Pingetons Illinois State womens basketball preseason luncheon has been moved to noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10 at the Holiday Inn.
Thats just two days before Pingetons Redbirds open the 2004-05 regular season at Notre Dame in the Sportsview.tv Preseason Womens National Invitation Tourney. The luncheon also will feature Redbird players.
Picked third in the Missouri Valley Conference preseason poll, Illinois State begins its exhibition season with a 2:05 p.m. tipoff Sunday against Odyssey.
Luncheon tickets are $11. For reservations, call The Redbird Club office at (309) 438-3803 to place an order. Deadline for reservations is 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3.
