The fast start to the 2004-05 mens basketball season has spurred interest in a fan trip to Chicago to watch the Redbirds play Loyola at 1 p.m. Dec. 18 at the Gentile Center.
The planned trip, sponsored by Redbird Athletics and Illinois State University Alumni Services, will depart promptly at 8:30 a.m. from the parking lot at the former Eagle grocery store on North Main Street. The bus will drop off all fans at a pre-game party at Hamiltons Bar & Grill on North Broadway in Chicago which features complimentary pizza and wings and will last from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Hamiltons.
The trip will include the pre-game party, plus a game ticket and bus transportation for just $33. Fans also can purchase the bus and pre-game party ticket only for $25. Game tickets also are available for $8 each.
