Yohann Nograbat looks to improve on his team leading 5-2 singles record as he leads the Illinos State mens tennis team (2-2, 0-0) against Western Michigan (3-1, 0-0), Friday at noon, in Kalamazoo, Mich.
Nograbat has only been with the Redbirds since January, but he has had a major impact on the team thus far. He made it to the semifinals of the Valley Individual Championships in January and recorded the lone singles win in the Redbirds loss to No. 70 Memphis.
After winning their first two matches of the season the Birds have dropped their last two matches, but both matches came to ranked opponents.
The Birds will face Western Michigan Friday, at noon, at the West Hills Athletic Club, in Kalamazoo, Mich.
