Illinois State Baseball Announces Summer Clinic Dates

Jim Brownlee and his Illinois State baseball staff have announced a full slate of summer clinics for players ranging from age six to 17. There will be a total of three clinics including offense/defense, pitching/catching and developmental. The offense/defense clinic will be offered at two different times in June. The first will take place from June 7-10 and the second will be offered from June 21-24. The camps will run from 9:00 a.m.-noon during each session, with a focus on the fundamentals of hitting and defense. The cost is $120 and is open for youth ages 11-17. The deadline for the clinic beginning June 7 will be June 3, while the deadline for the second camp is June 17. The pitching/catching clinic is available for one session on June 7-10, from 1:00p.m.-3:00 p.m. each day. This clinic will emphasize the mechanics and fundamentals of pitching and catching. The cost for this clinic is $100 and is open for ages 9-17. The deadline for this camp is also June 3. The developmental clinic is geared for those ages 6-10. It will be offered on June 14-17 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m and will focus on the basic fundamentals of baseball. The cost is $120 and the deadline day to get signed up is June 10. Each camp will feature individual evaluation by the Illinois State baseball staff. All participants will receive an in-depth evaluation and a clinic t-shirt at the conclusion of camp.
