Senior Brian Anderson was named Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week for the second week in a row, after taking second in the Branson Creek Invitational, and leading the Birds to a third place finish.
Anderson shaved two additional strokes off his personal best by firing a 210 on the par 71, 7,015-yard Branson Creek Course in Hollister, Mo. This was Andersons third top 10 finish in the past three tournaments.
In the field of 11, five were Valley teams, including host SMS, Bradley, Creighton, Southern Illinois and SMS.
The Birds compete again April 15-16 at the ASU Indian Golf Classic at the Ridge Pointe Country Club.
