The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) named the 2003-04 Illinois State mens basketball game program as the third best in Division I-A on Wednesday, finishing behind first place Kentucky and second place Arkansas.
Illinois State media relations graduate assistants Heather Freehill, Aaron Johnston and Mike Krizman all received recognition by CoSIDA for their work on the program, following their first place effort on the 2003 football program.
The programs were graded on categories that included team information, change pages, feature material, graphics and design and editorial content.
In the last five years, the Illinois State Athletics Media Relations Office has had eight publications rank in the top five nationally, including the 2003 football program and the 1999-2000 and 2000-01 basketball programs which all finished first in the country.
