Come out and meet the Illinois State football players and coaches on Monday, August 16 at Hancock Stadium from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Then meet the Redbird volleyball team and coaches on Saturday, August 21 at 2 p.m.
Attendees at the football event will have the opportunity to make a touchdown scoring pass to Redbird receivers or dive into the end zone for a game-winning touchdown. You will be able to meet your favorite Redbird players and coaches on the turf at this free event. The football Redbirds kick off the season against St. Xavier on Thursday, September 2 at 7 p.m. at Hancock Stadium.
Volleyball fans can experience the thrill of serving an ace, recording a kill and much more with their favorite players. Then, stick around for the Red/White Scrimmage at 3:30 p.m. as the squad will be broken up into two teams. The volleyball team will open its season at Illinois on Wednesday, September 1. Then the Birds will open up their home season with the Barker GMC Classic September 3-4.
These free events allow younger Redbird fans the opportunity to participate in interactive games with the players and coaches from their favorite teams.
