Krystal Featherston was named Missouri Valley Diver of the Week Wednesday for the fifth time this season.
The Kokomo, Ind, native is coming off first place finishes on both the one meter (261.08) and three-meter (271.05) boards in a dual-meet against Illinois-Chicago last weekend.
Head diving coach Carly Weiden is proud of Featherstons achievements.
Krystal has been performing very well on both boards, said Weiden. All the divers performed well against Illinois-Chicago this past weekend, and I expect great things at the Bill Ritter Invitational this weekend.
The Redbirds travel to Milwaukee, Wis. Jan. 21 to compete in the two-day invite. The meet begins with the divers at 11 a.m. on Friday. Jan. 21.
