Anne did an amazing job for us tonight, said Montero. Especially after being out last week and not competingshe came out so strong and showed the rest of the team how it was done.

Montero was pleased with the Redbirds floor routines but disappointed that the team didnt make an earlier charge.
Floor was a high spot for us, Montero said. We ended well with our routines. However, it was almost like the team figured out how we needed to be competing at the very end of the meet. That was disappointing but floor carried us tonight.

The Redbirds head to Columbia, Mo., Feb. 25-26 for the Cat Classic, where they will take on Missouri, New Hampshire, and Towson.
