Illinois State's game against Iowa on the final day of the Littlewood Classic was cancelled due to poor field conditions as a result of unseasonably wet weather.
The Redbirds (7-3) played just two of their five scheduled games at the tournament. ISU defeated Long Island, 10-1, in the opener before falling to Arizona State, the tournament host, 3-0, on Feb. 18.
The 'Birds will get another shot at the Hawkeyes when they travel to Iowa City for a doubleheader on March 23.
Illinois State travels to Fullerton, Calif. for the Worth Invitational March 4-6. The Redbirds will compete against Northwestern, #20 Oregon State, Boston College, tournament host Cal State-Fullerton and Pacific.
