ASU Indian Classic Cut Short

Due to inclement weather the first two rounds of the ASU Indian Classic mens golf tournament has been cancelled. The tournament will pick up on Tuesday, April 12 with a single round beginning at 8 a.m. Head coach Ray Kralis and the Redbirds were ready to compete when the weather shut down the days action. The guys were on the first tee of a shot gun start when lightning began, Kralis said. I think we actually had some balls in the air as the horn sounded. The Redbirds will travel next to Silvis, Ill., to compete in the Missouri Valley Conference championship April 25-26.
