Birds Opener at Southern Illinois Postponed

Carbondale, Ill. - Illinois State's opening game of its three-game series against Southern Illinois has been postponed until Friday due to inclement weather.

Illinois State and Southern Illinois will play two games on Friday, with the first game beginning at 12 p.m. from Abe Martin Field.

Depending on outcomes from games around the league, ISU could win as few as one game this weekend and still qualify for next weeks ConAgra Foods Missouri Valley Conference tournament.
