Illinois State Redbird fans are invited to help send off the women's basketball team to Seattle, Wash., Thursday, March 17 at 7:15 a.m. in the G-82 Parking Lot behind Horton Field House.
Fresh off their first Missouri Valley Conference Tournament title since 1989, the Redbirds will head to Seattle for the first round of the NCAA Tournament to face Baylor on Saturday, March 19 at 1 p.m., central time.
Fans are welcome to come and cheer on the Redbirds as they depart campus on Thursday for the trip west. Those wanting to see coverage of the game on television can do so by tuning in to ESPN2 and ESPNU.
