ST. LOUIS, Mo. -
The Missouri Valley Conference announced its swimming and diving all-conference and honorable mention team Monday.
Five Redbirds were named to the All-Valley First Team including Brittany Armstrong, Tracy Deyell, Krystal Featherston, Katie Finan and Alison Kouba.
Jenny Klicka, Finan, Kyle Pullman, Monique Witkowski and Valerie Zaleski received all-conference honorable mention awards. Joining them were teammates Terra Whisman, Emily Hirt, Kouba, Deyell, Julie Cocks, Lisa Hanrahan, Christine Steinbach, Emily Richardson, Simone Leger, Armstrong and Emily LaVoie.
Athletes are chosen for All-Conference and Honorable Mention awards based on their performance in the Valley Championship meet. First team honorees are those that finished first through third in each event, while honorable mention student-athletes finished fourth through eighth.
