NORMAL, Ill. -
After the dirt settled and the soap suds cleared, head coach Porter Moser counted out $2,000 that the Illinois State men's basketball team had raised in two hours with its full-service car wash on the east side of Hancock Stadium, Saturday morning.
All of the proceeds are going directly to Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit organization that builds homes for low income families as part of the Coaches Care program. Head coaches all around the country were called to assist in the fundraising efforts to rebuild the Gulf Coast area that has been devastated by Hurricane Katrina.
