Head coach Porter Moser completed the entire Illinois State men's basketball schedule for the 2005-06 season with the announcement of the Redbirds exhibition opponent. On Nov. 9, the `Birds will host Augustana (S.D.) at Redbird Arena with a 7:05 p.m. tip.
The Vikings, a Division II team which finished with an 8-20 mark last season, will make their first trip to Redbird Arena. Augustana is a member of the North Central Conference and will be the Redbirds only public exhibition opponent this season. Prior to the start of the season, Illinois State will host Ball State in a private scrimmage. The two teams conducted a similar practice last season in Muncie, Ind. Due to NCAA rules the scrimmage is closed to the public and results cannot be reported.
