Head coach Sharon Dingman, her staff and student-athletes will welcome fans, friends and family to the 2005 Illinois State University Volleyball Banquet at 1 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 29 at Redbird Arena.
With a special salute to graduating seniors Laura Doornbos, Ashley Grubb and Emily Kabbes, the Redbirds will review and reflect on upon a season which finished with an 18-12 overall mark, 13-5 in the Missouri Valley Conference and third place in league play, plus a long list of individual awards, honors and achievements by volleyball student-athletes.
Awards announced at the banquet will include the team's Most Improved Player, the Kristin Kueltzo Inspiration Award, the Kelly Meisner Courage Award and the Linda Herman Most Valuable Player Award.
The banquet is open to the public. Tickets are $25 each and reservations can be made by calling the Redbird Volleyball Office at (309) 438-2567.
