Opening statement:
"This was a strange game for us, but I'm glad that our team never gave up and kept fighting to try to win. Getting our first series win is big for us and the fact that it was also a Valley series makes it better. I'm happy for the players to be able to win this series and now we just need to keep getting more conference wins so we can get to our goal of reaching the postseason."
On the eighth inning comeback:
"The whole inning was started when Dubler had a great at bat and fouled off several pitches before drawing the walk. That really set the tone for the rest of the inning and we were able to come from behind. As for the scoring play, I'm not really sure what happened there. It was crazy to watch with all the throws and the players running and sliding all over the place, but it worked in our favor."
On possibly finding a closer:
"Mike Hlavacek has really embraced his role as a closer in this series and he looked confident in his two saves this weekend. With three on the season now, I think we may have our man at the end of the game."
