GoRedbirds: Who was your favorite "Friends" character?
Katie Seyller: Phoebe, she's so funny.
GR: What is the one thing you would tell someone from out of town to order from Avanti's?
KS: I'd say the Pizza Bread.
GR: What is your earliest memory of playing volleyball?
KS: I started playing in 8th grade so I don't have many childhood memories, but I would say just stepping from 8th grade to freshman year I never played in 8th grade much and then my freshman year my coach gave me a try and all the sudden I was starting varsity.
GR: What's the last movie you saw at the theater?
KS: The new Pirates of the Caribbean. I liked it I'm excited for the third one.
GR: Cubs or Cardinals fan?
KS: Cubs fan.
GR: Favorite Chinese place in town?
KS: Hot Wok.
GR: What do you like most about your position?
KS: I like the fast pace and I don't always have to hit a high ball, I can always get a quick attack. I'm always constantly moving.
GR: What's your favorite sport to watch?
KS: Basketball
GR: Growing up around ISU athletics, what do you think it will be like to actually get to play in Redbird Arena instead of being a spectator?
KS: I've actually never played in the Arena, so I think it will be awesome. It will be a lot louder atmosphere and a lot more fans then I've ever played in front of.
GR: Would you rather wake up early or stay up late?
KS: Stay up late.
GR: If you had to go on a reality TV show which one would it be?
KS: Either "Real World" or "Laguna Beach".
GR: Do you think you have a more conservative personality or are you a risk taker?
KS: I'd say conservative.
GR: One thing you think you will go home most for?
KS: Homemade meals and sleeping in my own bed.
GR: Do you have any pet peeves?
KS: I'm very decisive so when I want to do something I do it, when people don't know what they want to do and are indecisive I get very impatient.
