The Redbirds concluded their fall season at the Wilson/ITA Midwest Regional Championships, on Saturday, Oct. 20. Senior Katri Miller competed in Saturdays Singles Draw, but did not make it past the round of 32.
For Miller's first match she topped Stephanie Kebler (MSU), 6-3, 1-6, 7-5, however in her second match, Miller lost two straight sets to Kelcy Tefft (UND), 6-4, 6-1.
"This really hasn't been our best weekend," said head coach Chris Hoover. "It wasn't they way I would have liked to end our fall season, but I still think there is great potential in our team, and we just need to harness it so that we can go for another title in the spring."
The Redbirds will begin their spring season at Nebraska on Monday, Feb. 4, 2008.
