NORMAL, Ill. -
The Children's Discovery Museum will present young Redbird fans with the opportunity to "Spread the Red" Saturday, Oct. 6, by hosting a special Reggie Redbird Day at the facility.
The museum will be offering activities such as a paint wall, face painting and Reggie coloring pages. Kids will also have the chance to meet Reggie the Redbird and go on an official Reggie Hunt.
"The support of the Children's Discovery Museum has been amazing and the Reggie Redbird Day is just an example of their commitment in helping Spread the Red," said assistant athletics director/marketing and promotions Brad Ledford. "We're excited about the event and the opportunity to introduce Reggie to future Redbird fans in the community."
Activities will begin at 10 a.m., and will run through 1 p.m. Cost for Reggie Redbird Day is $4 for children ages two and over, and free for children under the age of two.
