Illinois State trailed 19-17 with 6:54 remaining before Indiana freshman phenom Eric Gordon took matters into his own hands. Gordon rattled off 11-straight points as No. 8 Indiana soured to a 30-17 lead with 5:30 left in the half. He finished with 20 points in the first 20 minutes of action.
ISU is led by Anthony Slack and Levi Dyer, who have each scored eight points apiece. Sophomore Osiris Eldridge scored his first points of the game with 4:08 left in the half.
