Fifth-seeded Illinois State (21-10) and No. 2 Northern Iowa will face off in the finals of the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament Saturday beginning at 4:05 p.m. at Hammons Student Center.
The Redbirds defeated Missouri State and Wichita State in the respective quarterfinal and semifinal rounds Friday. The Panthers tallied a 3-1 win over Creighton in the second semifinal after receiving a bye in the quarterfinals as a top-two seed.
The match will be televised live at 4:05 pm on Fox College Sports, and on a tape-delayed basis on Comcast SportsNet at 8:30 pm and FSN Midwest at 9:00 pm. The match can also be heard live on the radio on wjbc2.com and WTRX.
