NORMAL, Ill. - WJBC, the flagship station of Illinois State athletics, will broadcast its first radio show with newly appointed men's basketball coach Tim Jankovich on "Meet Tim Jankovich Night" next Wednesday (April 11) at the Pub II in uptown Normal. The event, which is free to the public, will begin at 6:10 p.m., and will run until 7 p.m.
Dick Luedke, the Redbird men's basketball play-by-play announcer, will host the show.
WJBC 1230 AM, which is also the network station for the Redbird Radio Network, regularly broadcasts the weekly Denver Johnson, Sharon Dingman, Robin Pingeton and Jankovich shows throughout their respective seasons.
