Cold Temperatures Cause the 2007 Illini Spring Classic to be Cancelled

URBANA, Ill. - The 2007 Illini Spring Classic was cancelled for both April 6 and 7 due to cold temperatures and wind.

The teams started competition on schedule at 11 a.m., but were called back to the clubhouse after less than an hour of play due to the wind chill. At that time the coaches made the decision to cancel the event.

The Redbirds will be back in action at the Indiana University Invitational on April 9-10 in Carmel, Ind. at the Crooked Stick Golf Club.
