MARIBOR, Slovenia-Thursday was filled with a lot of traveling. We traveled in these really comfy vans that were sort of like mini buses. We decided we liked them better than the Peoria Charter Coaches! We left early to travel to our hotel in Maribor, Slovenia. It was on the bottom of a mountain on a ski resort, so the view was gorgeous. We ate lunch there and traveled to Zagreb, Croatia for our match against the Croatian Junior National Team. It was a really good match and we pulled out the win in five games!
After the match, we ate and walked around downtown Zagreb. Our tour guide, Cory, treated us to the best ice cream we've had on the trip so far. Our goal is to try the ice cream in every country! After seeing some of the sights in Zagreb, we headed back to our hotel in Maribor for some much needed sleep!
