Jankovich to Throw Out First Pitch at White Sox Game August 22

NORMAL, Ill. - Illinois State head men's basketball coach Tim Jankovich will complete his Windy City Major League Baseball swing when he throws out the first pitch at U.S. Cellular Field on Aug. 22, prior to the 1:05 p.m. game between the Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals. Jankovich will also be throwing out the first pitch on the north side on Aug. 1, when the Chicago Cubs host the Philadelphia Phillies.

Jankovich is thrilled about the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at both Chicago major league ballparks.

"The opportunity to throw out the first pitch for a recent World Series champion is a big thrill and a little humbling," said Jankovich. "Hopefully 21 days is enough rest between starts!"
