Papa John's will be the title sponsor of the recently formed Reggie's Kids Club, the Illinois State department of athletics announced Friday.
As the title sponsor, Papa John's will receive exclusive advertising at ISU athletics venues, and on club t-shirts and membership cards. The company will also be recognized in various public address announcements on game-days, and be provided the opportunity to provide coupons and giveaways to Kids Club members.
"As an athletics department we have an opportunity to work with many great individuals and businesses," said Illinois State assistant athletics director for marketing and promotions Brad Ledford. "Papa John's has been a tremendous partner for many years, and we look forward to continuing to grow our relationship with them becoming the title sponsor of the Reggie's Kid's Club. Through the support of Papa John's and other corporate sponsors, the Reggie's Kids Club will offer many great opportunities for its members."
Other Kids Club sponsors include Little Jewel's Learning Center, McDonald's, Alamo II, Avanti's, Holmes Dental Center and Fun on the Run.
Reggie's Kids Club, which officially began its membership period on July 1, is an organization created in conjunction with the NCAA. It is open for enrollment for kids 12 years old and younger.
For an annual fee of just $30, Kids Club members will receive free admission to all Illinois State women's basketball games and volleyball matches, along with a complimentary ticket to select football, men's basketball and baseball and softball games. Members also receive an official Reggie's Kids Club t-shirt, a membership card, an annual birthday card from Reggie and discounts and coupons from participating vendors at athletic events.
Membership items will be distributed at the Redbird Fan Fair on August 18, and thereafter, can be picked up at the Redbird Ticket Office between normal business hours.
